2021 Women of Achievement Honorees

Each year the YWCA Woman of Achievement Award is presented to a select group of Northeast Ohio women who have achieved extraordinary accomplishments through career success, community service, leadership, mentoring, and dedication to YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. Boasting over 200 honorees, the Women of Achievement Academy is comprised of the most accomplished and esteemed leaders in Northeast Ohio.

This year we will celebrate the 45th Women of Achievement Awards ceremony. Eight women have been selected to receive the award at the virtual event on May 21, 2021.

  • Carrie Carpenter – Senior Vice President, Regional Manager of Corporate Affairs, Huntington Bank
  • Gladisa Guadalupe – Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Cleveland Ballet and Founder of School of Cleveland Ballet
  • Kathryn M. Hall – Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion, Jack Entertainment
  • Ariane Kirkpatrick – President and Chief Executive Officer, The AKA Team
  • Susanna Krey – President of the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland and Senior Vice President of Sisters of Charity Health System
  • Marsha A. Mockabee – President and Chief Executive Officer, Urban League of Greater Cleveland
  • Vanessa Whiting – President, AES Management
  • Lorna Wisham – Vice President, Corporate Affairs and Community Involvement and President, FirstEnergy Foundation

While we will be meeting virtually in 2021, next year’s celebration will be as big as ever! Featuring many of the same aspects of the luncheon we all know and love, while incorporating new digital components with a modern approach, the 2021 Women of Achievement Luncheon will be one to remember.
