YWCA Greater Cleveland is proud to announce their partnership with Care Alliance, a leading provider of quality, innovative, and affordable primary care services. Starting today, Care Alliance team members will be regularly scheduled to be on-site at YWCA’s prospect offices to provide essential services such as dental, hearing, and vision screenings, as well as immunizations for YWCA program participants as well as community members.
“We are excited to be working alongside another organization that shares our commitment to removing barriers to healthcare and addressing disparities in health outcomes,” said YWCA Greater Cleveland President and CEO, Helen Forbes Fields. “This is particularly wonderful for the families of preschool students in our Early Learning Center. Our goal is to provide caregivers as many tools as possible to raise healthy and thriving children.”
Care Alliance will be on-site at YWCA’s administrative offices at 4019 Prospect Ave, on the second Friday of every other month from 10 AM – 1 PM. Upcoming screening dates are:
- January 13th
- March 24th
- May 12th
- July 14th
Community members are welcome to visit YWCA for a walk-in screening on these dates or make an appointment by contacting YWCA at 216.881.6878. Priority will be given to YWCA program participants.
“We are grateful to YWCA Greater Cleveland for opening their doors to our team,” said Dr. Claude L. Jones, President & CEO of Care Alliance. “It is through collaborations like this that we can best serve the community and make healthcare more accessible.”
YWCA and Care Alliance kicked off their partnership with a Health Fair on December 9th at YWCA Greater Cleveland’s Prospect offices. Over sixty guests participated and received services such as free vision and dental screenings, blood pressure testing, and flu and COVID-19 vaccines. Guests were also able to choose from a wide variety of essentials to take with them such as lip balm, infant care packages, water bottles, and more.
YWCA is proud to partner with Care Alliance to connect the community with expert medical care and make progress towards YWCA’s goal of ensuring the health and safety of Cleveland’s women and families.
