Collaborative, candid, and steadfast – three words Lisa Lyon uses to describe herself.  These three characteristics have helped her to succeed in her current role as Sr. Manager of Global Trade Compliance for PolyOne Corporation. Lisa ensures compliant import and export activity in all countries that PolyOne conducts business.  She is responsible for mitigating risk while navigating through dynamic national security and foreign policy measures within the global landscape.

Lisa makes it a habit to say “let me know if I can ever be a resource to you.”  She’s amazed at how many professional and personal mentor/service opportunities have come from this one sentence. She experiences professional fulfillment by being a resource to others and giving someone that Oprah Winfrey “aha” moment about import/export compliance. Lisa knows how far women have come in her industry and believes that “soon, women’s self-confidence to master their potential will be limited only to their own mindset and not by societal norms.”
