As the Senior Manager of Assurance Services, Jennifer White, acts as a business partner and advisor to Ernest & Young. Through leadership and teamwork with a focus on technical and soft skill development, Jennifer is able to inspire both a positive and effective work environment. Jennifer believes this will enable individuals to succeed in their personal and professional lives.
“I find fulfilment and joy in playing a part in the development of our people, both personally and professionally. It is a great experience to watch others grow and succeed, and know that a snippet of feedback or leadership may have been influential to their evolution” Jennifer expresses.
Jennifer’s passion for development people goes hand-in-hand with her professional goals to commit to continuing to help develop and serve the community. Jennifer participates in UH Pet Pals pet therapy program, is seeking opportunities to lead the Loyola University Chicago Cleveland Alumni Group, and pursuing opportunities to get involved with our very own YWCA Board.
Jennifer shares with us that some the best advice that she has received, which comes from a young staff person and Ernest & Young. That advice was to strive to learn something new daily. Jennifer finds that she extends this advice beyond the workplace and finds that it is important to “help keep you engaged, broaden your horizons, enable new networking and growth opportunities, and provide a unique ability to display a sense of humility; often creating relationships and a culture built on listening skills and collaboration.”
