Robyn Strosaker M.D.
FAAP Chief Medical Officer & Vice President
University Hospitals
Robin plans on walking on the Great Wall of China and have operational responsibility for a hospital one day, but her daily fulfillment is the privilege of coming “to work every day to strive to make things safer and more effective for our 10,000 team members at the Cleveland Medical Center” and improving quality, safety and experience in providing outstanding care to patients and their families. Cheryl O’Malley, DNP, MSN, RN, her Interim Chief Nursing Officer, says, “Dr. Strosaker is a leader who I would like to emulate. Her behaviors of challenging the status quo and passion for excellence are driven by a high degree of integrity and compassion.” Robin admires that although her parents came from humble backgrounds, they raised her to become the first physician in the family. “My father has always encouraged me to be boundaryless in my career aspirations while also being realistic.”
