Christina M. Delos Reyes, M.D.
Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry
University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC)
In the area of Addiction Psychiatry, Delos Reyes sees patients, teaches Fellows and Residents, and works on strategic planning initiatives. She admires her parents “for their courage in moving their family to a new country and starting over, for making sacrifices to support my education, and for providing love and emotional support to me throughout my life.” Passionate, energetic, and creative, she is currently in the middle of an 18-month, 250-hour course at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and is most fulfilled at work when she sees something she taught to her students or patients that can be used for self-improvement, recovery, and growth. The YWCA’s mission of eliminating racism is embodied in her personal belief that: “I belong to the HUMAN race and when some of us are hurting, I believe we are all hurting.”
