Distinguished Young Woman Award


New this year, YWCA Greater Cleveland is now accepting nominations for the Distinguished Young Woman Awards, recognizing 50 women between the ages of 25 and 40 making a difference in Northeast Ohio. YWCA Greater Cleveland has been recognizing outstanding women of the Cleveland community for over 40 years.

These women will be listed in YWCA's annual ACHIEVE Magazine and invited to a private reception, where they will be publicly honored.

To nominate yourself: Tell us about yourself, your career and leadership. As a nominee, you should demonstrate leadership in your chosen career and commitment to the community, as well as to the YWCA mission: empowering women and eliminating racism.

To nominate another: A colleague, client, business associate, friend, etc. Tell us about her accomplishments. The nominee should demonstrate leadership in her chosen career and a commitment to the community, as well as to the YWCA mission: empowering women and eliminating racism.

Upon completion of the above forms, applicants will receive notification that their application has been received and is under review. All nominees will be evaluated by a panel and assessed strictly based on the information provided. For information or questions, call YWCA Greater Cleveland.
