InterContinental Hotel Cleveland
In 2009, YWCA Greater Cleveland started a special philanthropic giving society called the Circle of Women (now titled The Circle). Over the past eight years, this annual breakfast event has brought together a committed group of people -- primarily women -- to pool their resources and raise critical funds to support the vital needs of young women transitioning out of foster care into independence. The breakfast supports our Nurturing Independence and Aspirations (NIA) program, allowing supporters to directly impact the lives of formerly homeless young adults transitioning to self-sufficiency. Dollars raised have allowed YWCA to pay for supportive services for these young people, giving them the best possible chance for self-sufficiency and a positive ext from Independence Place.
