Women’s Leadership Initiative empowers women to become effective leaders by providing essential skills and strategies for professional and personal growth. It was created to address and overcome current gender disparities in business leadership. By helping individuals and businesses to maximize the leadership potential of their female employees, we are serving as a catalyst for the advancement of women in the workplace and the community. A variety of carefully tailored programs are designed to support women in all phases of their careers – and to ensure that organizations are prepared to do the same.
women's leadership development: boot camp, quest, momentum
Research supports that when women use the same career advancement strategies as men it doesn’t lead to the same degree of success. In fact, it can backfire. Therefore women must intentionally and strategically carve a unique path for advancement within their organizations. Providing the women in your organization with cutting edge, research-based leadership development can be a game changer.
Wisdom Circles provide small groups with the opportunity for personal reflection and professional development, helping participants to achieve their personal and professional goals. In four sessions, mentees learn from four distinguished executive mentors, gaining insight from a network of peer participants while sharing successes, challenges and lessons learned.
Monthly workshops empower women to turn gender-based workplace challenges into career-building opportunities. Offered monthly on a wide array of topics, these workshops are a great way to try out the YWCA or to stay connected.
